Investment advice delivered through a structured and regulated process
Investing involves risk and should always be approached through a clear, structured, and regulated framework.
Investment advice is not provided informally or through generic recommendations. It is delivered only after completing the required assessments and in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
This page explains how investment advice works, the role we play, and the safeguards that apply before any investment decision is made.

What investment advice means
Investment advice refers to a personal recommendation made to you in relation to specific financial instruments, based on your individual circumstances.
Under MiFID II, investment advice can only be provided when sufficient information has been gathered to ensure that the advice is suitable for you. This includes:
- Your financial situation and ability to bear losses
- Your investment objectives and time horizon
- Your risk tolerance
- Your knowledge and experience with financial instruments
Advice is documented and provided in a formal and transparent manner.
Our role as a tied agent
J. Knobel Investor Services Limited acts as a CySEC‑registered tied agent of a licensed Cyprus Investment Firm.
In this capacity:
- We do not provide portfolio management
- We do not make discretionary investment decisions on your behalf
- We do not offer execution‑only services outside the principal firm’s framework
Investment advice, where provided, is issued on behalf of the principal firm and follows its policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations.
How investment advice is provided
Investment advice is delivered through a defined process designed to protect clients and ensure suitability.
Suitability assessment
Before any advice is provided, a suitability assessment is completed. This assessment ensures that any recommendation is appropriate for your circumstances and objectives.
Personal recommendations
Where suitable, personal recommendations may be made in relation to specific financial instruments. These recommendations are based on your assessed profile and are not generic or promotional in nature.
Suitability report
For retail clients, investment advice is documented in a suitability report, which explains:
- The advice given
- The reasons for the recommendation
- Why the recommendation is suitable for you
